History

The University of Ottawa Healthcare Symposium was founded in 2013 as a conference for students to learn about different healthcare careers, network with students and professionals, and gain insight and inspiration in to the diverse field of healthcare.

Mission

The mission of UOHS is to increase student awareness on the interdisciplinary field of healthcare. By inviting diverse and innovative speakers, UOHS is an opportunity for all participants to learn more about different career options as well as to learn and reflect on new directions and critical issues in the field.
